Hah wasnt Liza Minelli performing out by Coney Island? did actually you go see her? hahahhaha. last weekend there was a bryan adams/def leppard concert by my house. There's lotsa stuff happening around here. the only thing i've been to, though, has been the Nathan's hot dog eating contest.

No. you don't participate in the contest. you watch it. it's like a huge thing...you have to go through this international eating circuit, it's like a tourney to even qualify, and nathan's is like the ultimate eating championship. it's really fun to watch, haha. anyways, the same tiny 144 lb. japanese guy won with 49 hot dogs in 12 minutes (didn't beat his own record though of 53 hot dogs that he set last year). that comes to about 13 seconds per hot dog. but what was amazing was the 97 lb sonya "black widow" thomas setting the women's and the american record of 37 hot dogs.
