hey that's a pretty powerful entry, i like the imagery you used, the style of writing is very descriptive and explanatory (?? tee hee where do i come up wit this stuff?) and the parallels with your actual father and Jesus and your future "husband"; the three males in your who shape(d)/are shaping your life. i like how you've used the dress as a metaphor for how your are "fitting" into your skin/self as result of living life through Jesus and for him. i like how you've made it emotive, it kind of shows a little insight into how your relationship is with your dad (?) erm...or something. it's cool! you can see how your dad giving you away to Jesus has this underlying negativity to it; sort of like your dad couldn't give you the guidance, ie. when he says "sorry" to "the aisle man" so he's passing you onto Jesus but paradoxically by giving you away to Jesus you're being passed onto the a better father...(? go with me here..hehe) and so you're like losing something but gaining another...(hrmm so i guess it's not so much a paradox as it is ( ... )
