Listening to the sound of the wind whispering through the leaves this morning made me feel so calm an sleepy. I wish it were warm enough to open my windows already, and that my house was close enough to to trees to hear the leaves without also getting the highway sounds

Guh. I'm going to regret not making it over while you're still there. Excuses, but finally enjoying work again, and have not yet built up the sufficient holiday time.

Summer will come! It is pretty honestly already here in Toronto, making it probably pretty nice in Ottawa/Thunder Bay already (the usual weather-wise month plus or minus).

Yes, you are! And since I've basically realized that I can't live in Japan forever because they have no evenings, I don't think you'll get a second chance from me, anyway. But it is definitely worth visiting, and I'm sure I'll be back, so maybe you can come with, whenever that will be.

It's still cool at night here, although it's getting to be t-shirt weather during the day. We got off to an early start but it seems to be taking its time now. There is still snow on the the mountains north of town.

Do you have flights and dates booked already? I might have to at least confirm the level of improbability for myself.

I don't, but I'm aiming to come back around the 10-12th of August. The earliest would be the 5th, if I can't come to a satisfactory arrangement with immigration about extending my visa. The plan is to go to Mongolia in early August, and July 25-30 I'm volunteering at a summer camp, so those would also not be good times to see Japan if you want to see me too ;)
