This past week was amazing. On Monday through Friday I was at ski camp with Lori. I am still very sore from sunburns and tubing. Thursday was my seventeenth bithday. Yesterday I went to Harry Potter. maybe i just hate Harry in book 5, but i think 3 and 6 six are tied for my favorite. Dumbledore is way kick-ass in 5, but you hardly see him becuase Harry's so stupid!! i can hardly stand to re-read it becuase i want to kill him so bad.

he's not that bad in the 5th book. i've read it a million times and he really isn't that bad. sure, i hate him but he's just a normal teenage boy. how JK shows a different side to her characters is incredible, it shows that they are human just like you and me. Harry's a prick but what teenage boy isn't. they're all blubbering idiots, it just shows that Harry isn't perfect which is why i love it so much. it has the most advanced plotline and the most going on, it's all around amazing. if there weren't times where we couldn't stand a character then it wouldn't be a good character. Just look at Ron at the beginning of the 4th book. he acted so stupidly just like Harry because it's realistic. honestly after all that's happened to Harry you can't tell me his actions aren't realistic. it's very real and that's why i like how she shows that other side to the book's hero. i'm not saying that i like Harry because i don't i wan't him to die but i really like that she made him a 3-dimensional character with flaws we all have them.

Yeah, it annoyed me a lot. I tried so hard not to compare it to the book. I think as a movie, it does a good job... but so much is taken ... it makes my heart break a little.
