Eleanor wasn't sure what had convinced her to go shopping yesterday -- other than an invigorating, delightful mood -- but it was a good thing she had. Because otherwise she might not have found a cute new top to wear today, and today felt too special to just show up at Joker's door wearing something he'd already seen her in.

Okay, and she'd put on a bit of lipstick, too. So?

She knocked on the door, fidgeting and hoping he was inside. If he was out somewhere ... if she had to wait to lay eyes on her boyfriend ... she might just die.

"Hang on," Joker called. He was done with his previous match, anyway, and had been thinking about calling it quits and going to talk to people. He shut everything down and headed over to open the door.

"Well, heyyyy, look at you!" he exclaimed happily, when he saw Eleanor. "What's the occasion?"

"No occasion," she said. Her cheeks felt warm; it went nicely with the warm glow she had over the rest of her skin. "I just ... wanted to see you. Are you busy? I mean ..."

She leaned against the doorframe, angling her eyes up at him. "I was thinking, we could go on a date," she offered.

It was usually he who asked, but that wasn't written in stone that he had to be the one to ask. She was his girlfriend. She was allowed to want to spend time with him.

And she did. Rather a lot.

Joker grinned at her. She had no idea how sexy she looked, leaning against the doorframe like that, did she? "That sounds like a wonderful idea. I would love to." He stepped closer to give her a kiss.
