Umm... Are we sure the audience wasn't just dicking him around? "Ooh, I'm gonna punch in the sun and see if he agrees!"

Otherwise... I mean, I suppose I can understand one guy living under a non-Copernican rock, but 58% of the audience?

Wow, that's pretty amazing (and, indeed, dismaying).

As much as can be said about America's poor education, etc., as a regular watcher of the American "Millionaire," I just... don't think that would happen on the US show. On the US show, the audience is normally fairly reliable. But, beyond that, how does *anyone* not know that the Moon orbits the Earth?

I just don't get it. Strange, sad world, at times.
