I've imported and backed up all my shizzle at Dreamwidth, mainly on account of about a third of my FList doing the same. I'm unlikely to move completely from here unless things get even worse, but I may start cross-posting at some point. Don't know, there has been so many "replacements" or alternatives to livejournal in the past.
Never seemed to have been very succesfull, and some are not even online anymore.

I personally will keep with livejournal, many of the changes do not really bother me as much and biggest "threat" so far has been everyone migrating to twitter rather then any other livejournal alternative.

It's true that there have been a lot of LJ clones (InsaneJournal, DeadJournal, etc), but DreamWidth is by far the most successful.

The changes on LJ do bother me a lot, personally... the removal of comment titles and the preview button, and particularly the new comment scheme which gives many users (such as myself) eye-strain, nausea and even migraines. But the worst of it is the customer service. With many thousands of comments (35 pages of them on the latest News post) saying DO NOT WANT, the customers are being ignored. Worst still, the LJ staff has been insulting users, calling them liars (when a lot of people found their auto-payments switched back on), and mocking them. It's a farce and a sham, really. LJ is broken for many people right now.

Having said that, I really don't want to leave. But if a lot of my friends are leaving, I at least want to be able to keep up with them, so I'm mirroring my journal over at DW (:

Interesting. I've never heard of DreamWidth until now. Thanks for introducing it to me. I too dislike some of the new changes LJ has been making. If I ever start blogging again, I would do it there. And add you, of course. Thanks.
