When it happened the third time around, it wasn't all that hard to just wake up and deal, but it wasn't all that charming, either. John was a little disturbed to realize how easily he got accustomed to his sort of annual breasts and...other parts. He'd gone about his daily routine all the same but once that was over, John wasn't exactly keen on

The second thing she thought was that it'd be pretty hilarious if he'd been switched too.
So she was on her way to New Atlantis when she ran across the woman on the boardwalk or, more accurately, across the remote-controlled car on the boardwalk. She nearly tripped over it.
"Jesus!" she sputtered, staggering a couple of steps and righting herself. She was pretty sure she recognized the car, too. "Watch where you're driving that thing, John-" she began, and then she looked up and saw...
Unmistakably, John Sheppard. Who was, currently, a woman.
She raised her eyebrows. "Women are supposed to be better drivers," she told her. Him. "I guess some things don't change."

When he realized it was Alice, his chin went up and he crossed his arms - then uncrossed them, when he was rudely reminded he had breasts in the way now. "I'm a better driver than you are."

More or less.
"Hi, John," she chirped. Her voice sounded a bit odd, on that, so she tried it as more of a grunt. "Hey."

Nobody else could look that cheerful about being turned into a guy.

"Oh, Christ," he muttered, spotting someone up ahead. Between the hair and the monster truck, she knew who it was. Maybe if she was really quiet and ducked her head, he wouldn't notice as she passed by.

"Hey, look out," John said, eyes still on the truck when another pair of legs suddenly came into view. He did the equivalent of having it slam on the brakes, then looked up to apologize.
Except, well.
"Uh."

One, he was being threatened by his own face, in his own voice. Two, whoever had his face knew who he was. Three...three, he was pretty sure he know who that was.
"I wasn't gonna laugh," he finally protested, eyes still wide.

After finding some clothes that actually fit her new self, she'd headed out to get some air, figuring it might be a good idea to stay away from the Compound for a while. It was pretty fucking chaotic in there. She only stopped because of the toy truck by her feet, but when she looked up to see whose it was, she froze. This just wasn't fucking fair. There hadn't been anyone who looked like her before, and she was pretty sure she would have been told if there was anyone like that around.
"Okay, what the hell's going on here?" she asked, obviously far from pleased. "You look like me. That's my face." Not anymore it wasn't, but that was beside the point.

"Usually I do, yeah," he finally said, trying not to look at Lionel like he'd gone insane.

"Usually?" she echoed, incredulous, hands moving to rest on her hips that still really didn't feel right. "What? No. I don't usually look like this. Usually, I look like that." She jabbed a finger in the direction of her doppelganger, lips set in a tight frown. "So, again. What the hell is going on?"

"And usually I look like you," John said, crossing his arms, "only ten years older. Look, it's just a thing, it'll be over in a few days. Hasn't anyone explained this to you?"
