Just realised that I never commented on this chapter when I first read it. I am desperate to know whose lawn they forked (is this an American tradition? Where do they get all the forks? I never heard of it before but it amuses me greatly).
And on second read I appreciated all the jokes about tickle fights.
No, we don't TP people's houses over here, although who knows what the kids are into these days. I learned about TPing from film and TV.
Of course drunk Maes stole all the forks from the pub. He's a menace. XD
I'm sure it does. I'm sure they tickle fight in stationery cupboards at HQ, on the kitchen floor, bent over the arm of the couch ... it's a wonder they get anything else done.
