Hidden Boo-boos

Tonight when I was drying Annelise's hair I noticed a scab right at the top of her hairline.  Due to the fact that hair washing is traumatic both for her and for us we usually only wash her hair once a week (unless she gets something in it), so the wound had been there a while and was already starting to heal.  Seeing the scab I know exactly when

I'm always amazed at how God works - how He uses so many small things to speak such big things into our lives. I know trying to forsee every possible mishap or boo-boo our children could face is mindboggling and almost more painful. There is no way to know what Annelise will experience or express in the future. But you have made yourself open to hear it - that makes a huge difference. I think your children are blessed by having you and James - you are both willing to take on what they give and help them move forward with it. Its scary because you have no idea what could come from this. I love you. I hope God provides some peace to you as work this out in your head and heart.
