so I have new splints.... apparently incredibly expensive but they are soft however BIG... but soft... but BIG... lol....

resting splints.... but they also help the tenosynovitis as well as the rest of my JRA issues that seem to be causing issues now in late life. Well I've had a few in the past and used to use resting splints and have had here and ( Read more... )

they are comfy.. they have a typical OT rigid formed orthosis i=zipped inside of the tericloth...

its soft..just big..lol

Here is the primary link howeever it seems that several places sell them so maybe google them.. they are fittingly called 'comfy splints'

they have them in kids and adult sizes.. and can be adjusted like i guess the orthosis itself can be adjusted without tools...i need to visit an OT cause mine need a slight adjustment still .. anyways.. im surprised tp say that i actually love the way they feel.. that will be a first with resting splints... mine also have a finger seperator apparatus thats made of the same material and its soft yet keeps my fingers in place.

You're right about them being incredibly expensive... way over what we can afford. :(

maybe talk to your OT and see if insurance will pay for them. An OT got mine for me but I had special help. I was very fortunate I think...

i cant believe how much they cost.... thats insane...
