Leaving for the test

Mar 15, 2005 07:53

I'm so not taking this seriously any more.

Prediction:

Verbal = 730-800
Math = Not even going to bother. At this point I'll be lucky to get 600.
Writing = Who the hell knows.

And there's some major goddam "police activity" at 75 & Mockingbird & all lanes are closed. Think I'll even get there?

Good luck on the test, though I'm sure you'll do great.

Didn't the Munsters live on Mockingbird Lane?

Did they? This Mockingbird Lane is ledgendary, running by SMU & through the ritziest part of Dallas. So with all those old mansions, it wouldn't be surprising to find the Munsters ;)

Girl!! There was a MAJOR shootout on Mockingbird, they cleared it up about 7am this morning is what I heard.

Some people were in a fight at a bar (Jack's?) and followed another car out. Before the victim's car got far past the first light (not even to 75), a guy stood out the sunroof of his silver jag and opened fire with an automatic weapon. Wow, just wow :(

You takin the GRE down there? That's got to be easier than the building at Coit & 75 I did mine at. The High-Five was (still is) underconstuction and it was unpossible to get to.

I love how you find the story in the Chron rather than the DMN. :D

My test was at Coit & 75. And yes, it was a major pain in the ass. Yahoo directions told me to get on 75 & exit Coit rather than exit Coit off 635, so I got lost & went too far. I was worried that 75 would be totally backed up, & didn't really pay attention to how close the Coit exit was after 635. I still don't know that area at all. Wouldn't mind getting to know it, though, after seeing those houses. Now I know what our realtor meant when she said a lot of sports players live in North Dallas.

Geez, I've really got to start listening to the news in the mornings . . . . and start being more careful about pissing random strangers off.
