UCI. They started an online program 2 years ago. I always feel like I have to qualify it, since it's online, but their Criminology, Law & Society dept. is #4 (according to US News & World Report, for whatever that's worth) & in order to establish credibility, the program is being taught completely by full professors. I'm pretty excited about it. :)

That's awesome!

I think it is really cool that online programs are becoming so well established. It is a great option for people.

I didn't know you went to Santa Clara--cool! I take kids there every year for field trips, and when I finally have AVID seniors, I'd love to see at least one of them end up at SCU. What a great school.

Hee! I totally thought you knew. That's one of the reasons I consider NorCal more "home" than SoCal. It was a great experience, but I rue not being more mature and more capable of appreciating the education. It took at least 2 1/2 years for me to "get it," and by then I was too entrenched in all the friggin' extra curricular activities I did. I would *love* to go back and retake many of those classes.

Did you see the campus before they started all the construction? During my freshman year The Alameda was still a paved street that ran through campus, but was blocked off there at the edge of campus by the Graham dorms (where I lived frosh year). The area behind Benson was also a paved street. They started ripping that up during my soph year to put in grass, and the construction continued after I graduated. It's a completely different campus than when I first started.

Do you get the Santa Clara Magazine? Ricardo and I are going to announce Ella's birth in it. :) I love playing the "do you know?" game with Ricardo every month when it comes out.

LOL. Yeah, I get it, but I don't look through it every month. When I do, though, I do the exact same thing you do. At least with myself :).

For some reason I only have my Sr. yearbook with me (I guess the rest are with my 'rents), and I pulled it out a few weeks ago while I was writing my SOP for grad school (trying to remember things). I looked for Ricardo but couldn't find him. Did he not take a pic that year?
