ah, how I did miss reading your posts! Don't dread the past so much. We've all made our fair share of mistakes. I do, however, think there's always a way to fix them. About your demon clock, you should hang on to that. Seems like it could be a good thing in the long run. If it's sudden state of being possessed was just a one time thing, it may do great things for you in the future as far as getting to class on time. I don't know how it works for everyone else, but natural sunlight usually wakes me up, or helps anyways. Try leaving your blinds open at night. You should read my response to your facebook message :)
