Had a cycling accident and broke my left arm, it is super rubbish. :| What's worse is that I don't get a cast because of where the break is, so it's just flapping around in a sling, and let me tell you, there are a LOT of involuntary motions in your arm that I could do without right now ( Read more... )

I don't know if they have it around the UK, but 'Recovery' (made by the company, 'Purica') is really good for healing bones and joints and the like. I take a low dosage of it every day to help with some joint issues, but taking the larger dose really helps with breaks and the like. (O.o It makes my hair and nails grow faster, which is weird but kind of cool.) If it's available, you'll probably find it in health/health food stores. It might be worth taking a look!

aw, thank you! <3 We haven't spoken in ages, hope all is well in song-land. :)

Haha, that was my last resort basically. Similar to how I can't really pick things up from the floor, putting things down is hard too since it's much harder to keep my arm steady (and therefore not flopping around painfully) when I'm leaning down. I was trying to shrug out of my dressing gown without spilling the tea when my flatmate showed up.
