Car is finally fixed. Managed to get it out of the second floor of the underground parking, 590 dollars (thats including the tow) later it's got a new fuel valve and oil change (since it was due for one.)

This should be the last repair bill before I sell it.

Congrats!

It must be a bad time for cars. The engine on our car just started making the "nasty scraping noises of doom" the other night; we were quite lucky to get it home. :(
