I had a good birthday on Monday. Stayed at home all day, opened presents (mostly books and cds, some other cool things too) ate yummy food my brother made me (including French toast, chilaquiles, and cake!) - I helped a bit with one part of the cooking, which is cool cause I love to cook. Yup, it's a great concept, the American Girls. I think that a lot of libraries carry the books these days, which is cool. The books are great, even reading them now at 25. The 1970s one, Julie came out just last fall/winter. There hadn't been a new main girl since, I think about 2001 or 2002 and that was Kaya, a Native American girl. The 1920s one, Kit, came out, about 1999 maybe? So you're still pretty up to date on them ^.^

Chilaquiles are a Mexican breakfast dish that can be made in a few different ways, but always has crispy tortilla bits (either fried tortilla strips, stale tortillas, or tortilla chips) cooked in a sauce made from chilis, tomato, onion, and I think garlic as well, and then cheese melted on top (could be a mexican blend, or montery jack, or some other type of mexican cheese). Some people put chicken on top, or eggs, or beans, or a mix. And sometimes sour cream is put on top too. The chips take on a mixture of crispy and soggy texture, and it's so delicious!
I'll try to get back to your email soon, sorry for the delay on that (again).
