Everything began when Dhaos was set free by a power hungry idiot who happened to be one of the descendents of the group of heroes who sealed him in the first place during Chester, Cless and Mint’s time period. They tried to fight him with no avail until Morrision sent them 100 years back in time in hopes of them finding a way to defeat Dhaos. They learn from the elder of Belladam that magic is the key to defeating Dhaos and they should head for Euclid and seek out a man named Klarth (Or Claus, either way same person XD;;). They managed to recruit the man with a bit of fuss, and brought him to Lone Valley in hopes of getting Bart to part with his pact ring. Bart agreed to give it to them for free if they were willing to help look for his missing daughter, Arche. They navigated through the valley and discovered that the sylphs were being driven insane by the miasma from the Daemonium. They went around and plugged up the holes with rocks so no more miasma could escape to their world. Slyph thanked them for their help and formed a pact with Klarth, unfortunately it appears that Arche didn’t come there. They reported back to the man and promised they would check the other towns they planned on visiting. They made a detour back to Belladam and visited the Great Tree in the Forest of Spirits. Martel then appeared and warned them that the tree’s demise was near and vanished. After discussing what they were just told, Klarth told them they’ll need to head to Alvanista to gain permission to visit the mines in order to retrieve Luna’s pact ring.
They journeyed passed Eculid, Lone Valley and then group first met Arche unknowingly as Rhea Scarlet when they happened to pass by the ruins of Hamel. After helping Rhea achieve her vengeance against Demitel, she collapsed and her spirit finally departed on to the afterlife asking them to take care of her dear friend confusing the group. They later found out that “Rhea” was really Arche, the girl whom they’ve been looking for Bart. She apparently had used her magic to allow her beloved friend posses her body so she could avenge her parents and hometown because her soul couldn’t the rest until justice has been dealt. They then went back to Lone Valley where she reunites with her father and as gratitude for aiding her friend; Arche joins the group bearing two pact rings from Bart as gifts. They headed towards Venezia hoping to catch a ship heading for Alvanista only to find that the captain refuses to take due to the danger of Dhaos attacking the place. Arche tries to “negotiate” with the captain only to fail though the scene seems to imply that Arche’s anger may have convinced the captain into agreeing with Cless’ offer. On the way there on boat, the group met swordsman named Meia, whose goal was to explore the Moria Mineshaft. Klarth got along with Meia, Arche appears to have been drinking alcohol (that or she somehow got drunk on juice…) and passed out which led to some very suggestive dreams involving Cless, later on Klarth gotten some interesting regarding the prince of Alvanista Next morning after, Arche and the others ended up leaving Cless to deal with the possessed Meia on his own due to overeating the day before leaving them incapacitated.
After docking in Alvanista the group head for the inn to make a plan involving Arche’s broom despite her misgivings though it didn’t take much till she cave in. At her suggestion, the party waited until nighttime due to their luck ended up being the one day when the moon would not show up. The group broke into the prince’s room via the balcony and found out that it was Jahmir, a demon who disguised himself as a pet parrot. They defeated him and broke his control over the prince who then screamed for the guard anyways and was thrown in the dungeons despite Arche’s complains. They did not stay there for long, they were brought before the king of Alvanista who thanked them for their deeds and asked them to please support their army when quest for strong magic is done. He gave them a magic arts book, Gungnir (a powerful spear), and his permission to enter the Morlia Miineshafts. Unfortunately it seems as though the mines has a dead way mid-way, the party agreed that they should explore else ward before revisiting the mines. They went into the Cavern of Spirits where they led a sprite back to its fellow friends and met Gnome whom they battled and defeated so Klarth may form a pack with him. They went to Belladam and visited the Elder and headed for Venezia, but when they passed the ruin of Hamel Arche stopped and made a grave for Rhea and grieves for her friend for a moment as they were very close to one another before her death before continuing on their journey. They then went to Freyland and in the Cave of Burning Sand where they found Efreet, who agreed to form a pact if they managed to best him in battle. After gaining a second spirit the group headed for Limestone Cave to form a pact with Undine whom they must beat in battle. Pact formed, they went back and revisit the mines once again, this time with the dead end gone, they came across ancient looking stone slab written in a language Klarth could not identify, but Arche could due to her heritage as an half elf and translate the language she called Primal Elven Lore.
Following the instructions from stone slab, Maxwell, the leader of the four elemental summons was called forth and immediately joined the crew after giving permission to take the treasures and even drew out some of Gungnir’s power from the weapon. The party returned to Alvanista to talk to Lundgrom, the court magic user about the broken ring, who then referred them to his friend Edward (also a royal advisor) and sent them off to his manor with his letter of recommendation. Reaching his home, the crew was told by Lilith (Edward’s wife) that he’s not home and that he may be somewhere in Freyland. By the time they reached to Olive village, the told them he was most likely in one of the oasis leading the poor group into a wild goose chase all the way back to the Inn. The proprietor told them Edward was looking for Basilisk scales and would most likely see those have them immediately getting the party to trek back outside and hunt down the lizards until they had 5 scales. They showed him the letter from Lundgrom and Edward mentioned a possible solution to fix Luna’s pact ring would be in the Elf Colony, all they need was a letter of introduction from Alvanista. Just before he left, Cless gave him the book that was handed to him by his descendent, hoping Edward would know what to do with it. Once again the crew is back in Alvanista asking Lundgrom if he could allow them to enter the Elf Colony, Lundgrom complied with his request, but warn them that half-elves are absolutely forbidden from entering Ymir Forest. As such, Arche stayed behind as the group left for Ymir forest.
As the party walked through the forest, Klarth thought he saw a flash of pink in the trees, but left it alone at the other’s urging, Arche seems to be hiding behind a tree on her broom with those white cloth thingy thieves to tend to tie around their heads seemingly amused. They met up with Elf lord Brambert who told them after examining the ring that they need the power of the black stone in order to restore it. Brambert escorted them through Treantwood maze with the help of the forest creatures, there before The Black Stone, the ring was restored back to its former glory. Unfortunately the stone could only restore magical items as such it could not fix Chester’s bow. Just as they were going to see the bowsmith, there was commotion in the village where the guards discovered a half-elf intruder who was none other than Arche! Arche was all tied and sitting on the floor before them seemingly switching from demanding to be released, flirting and mentioning… interesting things. Claus scolded her for disobeying the laws while Mint pleaded them to let her go, but Brambert stated the punishment for half-elf intruders is death, only for a pink hair elf to run up to him and begged as well crying. Unable to deny her, Brembert ordered her release with a few fuss from the soldiers. The elf woman continued to cry apologizing repeatedly, asking her for forgiveness, confusing Arche beyond belief. It was when they were leaving the colony that Arche came to a shocked realization, she tried to run back into the village, but was stopped by the sentries. She screamed as loud as she could hoping to could hear her, so sure that she is her mother and asking her to confirm it and begging her to let her see her once more. The rest could only stare at her sadly whether in sympathy or pity is debatable. Of course, not moments after it was Cless trying to run pass the sentries, wanting to know if Chester’s bow is repairable. Unfortunately it was beyond his skills so he recommended them to see a highly skilled wood carver name Arsia.
When they reached the manor, Arche immediately noticed statues by the mansion and comment how detailed it was and creepy too. It’s unknown whether if she had an inkling or not on what cause the existence of the statues, however her comments is to believed that she had a bad feelings about visiting. After meeting with Arsia and asking if she could fix the bow which she said she’s willing to try, but on one condition. It seems one of them must be turned into a statue, becoming her hostage to ensure they will bring Brambert back with them. Klarth protested vehemently against it, trying to convince Cless to give on fixing the bow which both Mint and Cless stayed stubborn on. Feeling that she had given them enough time and since they still haven’t made a choice, she shall choose for them and preparing to cast the spell on Mint, only have Arche push her out of the way and take her place, not without her cussing Arsia though. Frantically, her friends went to Elf Colony to get Brambert, he agreed to come with them immediately when Arsia’s was mentioned. When they got there, Arsia and Brambert had a talk which led him to be petrified as a statue for Arche’s freedom. With heavy hearts the group left at Arsia’s request and ending up leaving the bow behind.
They traveled Migards to meet the king and met strange tiny being (which Cless mistake him for a bug) flying asking them to play with him which Arche refused stating they were on important business and didn’t have time to play with him. Angered, the tiny being attacked Cless and flew off saying he’ll be at the tower of Zodiacs if they want it back with Cless realizing moments to late that the Royal Crest of Alvanista was stolen. The crew went to the Tower of Zodiacs and pressed on until they reached the sixth floor where they saw the tiny being who revealed himself as a fairy called Artemis. Seeing as they needed to make a pact with Luna, they tried to negotiate with him into letting them through which he agreed on one condition: Arche had to kiss someone. Arche seems rather reluctant on doing so, but if she had to she’s more likely to go after Cless though Mint and a voice intervened. The same voice told Artemis to give them the spellbook teaching ray for Arche and he complied before leaving. Arche noticed how Artemis seems rather lonely which might implied that she used to know that same loneliness herself before she met Rhea. They went up the stairs to meet the owner of that, Luna who apologized for Artemis’ behavior and returned the crest as well as forming a pack with Klarth.
With the pact made and crest returned, the group went back to Midgards and requested a meeting with Edward and was made to wait for quite a while much to Arche’s displeasure. Finally Edward enters the room along with Reison, the captain of Migard’s knights. While talking about joining their strengths and destroys Dhaos’ evil plans which made Arche think and question Dhaos’ goal, much to the shock and confusion of her comrades. They were then escorted to meet the king and talk about their plans before showing them the Magitech Lab. By the time they were done visiting and beginning to leave the castle, Arche stops and states that she doesn’t believe it. The things Reison was talking about Dhao’s evil plans didn’t make sense to her. She admits to Dhaos controlling monsters and wreaking in towns and people, however his plans of control the prince didn’t make any sense when he could easily just destroy the kingdom from the inside out or him not destroying another towns and currently he seems preoccupied with only taking out Midgards, something she questioned. Even Klarth agreed she made a point, but Cless just seems incredulous that they seems to be trying to not to paint him as a bad guy and reminded them of Hamel. Arche’s response was that she was not including personal grudges, at which point Cless blew up at her, questioned her angrily about what she was thinking, if she had forgotten that Dhaos’ was responsible for the murder of the Scarlets. He even accused her of not caring about deaths and the destruction that Dhaos wrought causing Klarth to scold him, if she was hurt by those comments, she didn’t let it show, really good at pushing it aside until later and pressed on the issue. The part that confused her the most was why Dhaos was attacking Hamel, she think she may have thinking to deeply, but she had this nagging feel that there a connection between those places, but she just couldn’t figure out the missing piece. She made a suggestion to the group and off they went to Lone Valley wondering if Bart had any answers.
Arriving immediately to Lone Valley, Arche went straight to her father and confront him about her mother, feeling really upset and somewhat betrayed. She wanted to why he lied to her and told her her mother was dead, questioning if she left them because of an affair. Shocked, Bart vehemently denied and explained that somewhere around ten years ago began to despise humans, refuse the mingling of human and elven blood then insolated themselves in Ymir Forest. Some of the elves disagreed and were forcibly taken away from humans like her mother Luti stating that there were more of difference then they had once thought. The soldier seem to have left a clue on what caused the separation saying they should be thinking about the stupid things they do and still trying to do. Bart continued on either not noticing their looks of confusion or ignoring it about how Luti begged him to think of her as dead. Arche began crying, trying to hide her tears from her father and mentioned what her mother told her, hoping her father doesn’t hate her anymore. She felt cheered up immensely when her father told her he had never hated her in the first place and apologize for his lying to her and things were good again. She then asked if the Scarlets had any connection to Migards and was told that the Scarlets did come from Migards and did research on some sort of power back in the castle years ago that Klarth believe might be Magitech. The group left wonder if there was a connection between Dhaos and Magitech.
As they returned, there seems to be a commotion in front of the castle to find a pink color beast holding a child as hostage being confronted by Edward. The monster Justona came to declare war and intended to destroy them if (and I assume) she could while using the child as hostage so they could attack her. Morrison had Arche watch him as he demonstrated his newfound skill and time traveled a bit in order to free the child. Sadly Justona manage to stab him through with a sword, but he gave them a warning that they shouldn’t try to timetravel on their own before he time traveled once more taking Justona with him. Cless asked Arche fiercely if she still had doubts about Dhaos. It is unknown if she still had doubt or not, but if she did she kept quiet knowing there’s no reasoning with Cless now and told him she won’t mention it again. The group gathered in the war council room where they were surprised that Klarth was selected as one of the captains despite the Kirkwood questioning his actions. They went to the Vahalla Plains and took out the commander Ishrantu as per ordered and rewarded for their efforts back in midgard, but was interrupted by a soldier who reported that Migards was soon to be attacked by Dhaos’ aerial forces. On their way out Cless was stop by a woman’s voice which only he could hear and was taken, causing Mint to faint and left Arche and Klarth worried. Meanwhile back at the laboratory Reison prepared and fired the Magitech weapon, somewhat similar to Symphonia’s Mana cannon I think, destroying a good chuck of Dhaos’ forces. Sadly after the first attack the weapon no longer worked, around the same time Cless returned with a horse that he’d had borrowed from the Valkyrie if he returned Gungnir after the battle. Arche joined despite Cless’ reasoning that she couldn’t fly very long, only to be told by Pegasus (the horse) that under his (her? Pretty sure he’s male though) power she’ll be able to keep up with them as they’ll need every possible aid. After fighting a few waves of enemies and the commander itself, Arche and Cless successfully driven back the enemy and as promised Cless gave Pegasus Gungnir and allowed him to return back to Valkyrie. Soon after Reison ran up to them and gave Arche the Indignantion spellbook that Edward had left for her should anything happen to him.
They stormed through Dhaos’ castle determined to end it one in for all, plowing through every single one of his minions they encountered along the way. By the time they reached throne room, Cless challenges Dhaos only to receive an odd response. Dhaos asked him why do they wish to fight him as he had no quarrel with them and seemed amused that Migard’s “pawns” thought they could take him down when he heard Cless’ reply and attacked. After a long battle Dhaos simply disappeared much to Cless’ frustration and annoyance. Returning back to the lab Landgrom told them that Morrison entrusted a letter and key to him inside stating that that they’ll find out what the key is for soon enough when they reached Edward’s home. Upon arriving, Lilith told them that they could use Edward’s library, but she didn’t have the key for it, an item that Lundgrom has. In the library, Lundgrom told them that he had been doing research on timetravel. Klarth then took over the explanation, telling them about the kingdom of Thor and how they had the technology to travel through time. Arche pointed out that in sank though thinking it probably had been destroyed beyond repair by now if it could even be repaired. Klarth seemingly grinned and said because of the amazing technology they possessed assuming they could trust the book Edward left them it wasn’t destroyed. Problem is it’s at the bottom of the ocean floor a place where no one can reach though the book did mention Klarth may know a way.
Outside of the house, Klarth told them the position of where Thor sank and where they’ll have to catch the boat. Cless wanted to go immediately, but Mint wanted to visit Yggdrasil first, something both Arche and Klarth agreed on as they needed magic to defeat Dhaos. Apparantly they either spoke too fast or catch on each others thought fast enough to confuse Cless, making Klarth explaining it to him again. Unfortunately the Elder of Belladem was not able to help them as Divine magic didn’t exist then neither did Milard in Euclid. When they went to Lone Valley to ask Bart who didn’t know how either, but told them according to folklore of Migards there is a spirit who governs over life energy, the source of their existence or so he heard and thought it may be the same power as Mint’s. He also told them that the spirit takes form of a horse before they left. After searching for a while for information, the party rested at Alvanista’s inn and Mint had a dream or a flashback in a dream about her mother and her unique earrings that was passed down for in their family for generations. She gently corrected her that it’s not a horse, but a unicorn which is a symbol of a healer. The next morning on the a boat bound to Venezia, Mint told them that her divine power may be able to help, but she wasn’t powerful enough so she’ll need to seek aid from the Unicorn. With that goal in mind, the party set out for White Birch Forest, just past the Valhalla Plains where the Unicorn is known to reside based on the information they had. The males stayed near the entrance and sent the girls to meet with the Unicorn as s/he would only meet a “pure, innocent maiden” despite Arche’s protests though she silenced herself quickly when Cless gave her a questioning look. Here, Arche’s reaction seem to hint towards the idea that she may have “did it” before or done something that may have tarnish what she thinks makes up image of a pure maiden. However, she didn’t elaborate making me think that she did “do something” especially later on after the battle with the three evil lords when Mint was meeting with the Unicorn. After the battle she only reinforced that assumption when mentioning a previous boyfriend and how they… something and told Cless to shut it and flat out told him the Unicorn refuses to see her, end of discussion.
They then return to the Forest of Spirits once more, standing before the tree Mint cast Resurrection and at one point almost lost control of it, but with a bright flash of light the party is shown to lying on the ground. While disoriented, they realized happily that the Yggdrasil was back to normal and was in no danger of withering anytime soon. They talked about Dhaos’ and magitech for bit trying to figure out a connection between them. Arche thinks Dhaos was attacking Migards because of Magitech as magic is the only thing that can harm him. I believe that part of her thought Dhaos’s plans might not be for an evil purpose was wiped out when Edward was taken out. Unwilling to debate about it any longer, the crew went to Venezia to catch a ship that may take them to area of the sea where Thor may possibly be located. Klarth summoned Undine to create a bubble of air and take them to bottom of the sea and Thor. On their way down, they spotted ruins of a city, when they were safely deposited in the city, it’s seems the city has an invisible barrier capable of withstanding water pressure surrounding it enabling the group to breathe. Curious, they explored the buildings, fought the security systems and finding a Diamond Pact ring along the way until them stumbled into a strange room. A hologram of a giant face appeared and introduced itself as Cust who informed them that they’re in the Mother computer room and asked them to select an objective, requiring them restore the town’s functions in order to use the time warp. Restoring the functions of the town as Cless’ command, the continent where Thor lies upon began rise up to the surface. With enough power available, Cless request Cust to send them May 21, 102 years back in their time in the catacombs. Appearing before the Dhaos, and injured Morrison and a barely conscious Chester, the group fought and defeated Dhaos and rushed out of the catacombs as fast as they could as the energy from Dhaos’ awakening had weakened its structure causing it to collapse.
Believing Dhaos to be dead, the group intends to part ways much to the sadness of both groups. As Arche and Klarth began to leave, but suddenly man named Harrison appeared in a flash of light claiming that he was 50 years from the future to seek aid from them under the orders of the King of Alvanista. He explained that Dhaos has appeared in their time wrecking havoc among their world and it was most likely him who sent those meteors in hopes of offing the heroes first before Harrison could bring them to the future. Sharing a grin, it seems they’ll be staying together for just a little longer. The group agreed to head to the future together, this time bringing Chester along. Arche mentions that Chester looks rather weak and didn’t think he’ll be able to keep up with them, angering Chester even though Cless told him she meant well despite her words. The crew went back to Thor and had Cust take them 50 years into future village of Toltus. When they arrived, Harrison told them that the village was renamed Miguel, after Cless’ fallen father. Harrison then left promising to meet up with in Venezia. The company stayed for a night and rested while Chester trained for a while, had heart to heart talk with Cless before Cless left to rest, dreaming a memory of past about his parents and his father’s techniques. Next morning, they left Miguel for Euclid (and stopping at mountain pass for moment where Chester yells out to Mother Nature on how he was going to come after him) where Klarth had a short flashback about him and Milard. Passing Euclid, they finally arrived to Venezia where Harrison met up with them and explain how the ships to leave port as Dhaos’ power extend to the seas. He told them a secret about there being a Megitech lab in Euclid and how if they cannot reach Alvanista by sea, they’ll have to try by air. Upon arriving at the lab and bypassing the guards, the researchers told them that while they could fly, the Techbirds do not have enough energy to travel that much distance which means they’ll need the power of the summon spirit volt in order for it work that long. The researcher Stanley, gave Klarth a Sardonyx pact ring and some rumors about Volt’s cave before they left. On the way to Volt’s cave, they stop by Morrison’s home and met Harold who did not seem to have any anything to tell them through the previous Morrisons.
They left for Volt’s cave (formerly the catacombs) to find a young ninja girl take out two ninjas, when she had noticed them she immediately left, not longer after they saw her again this time being electrocuted by machines, unfortunately not long after Cless found himself sharing her predicament after being persuaded by the others to help her. After then other helped them out, the girl ran off once again, heading through one of the caves, they aided the girl in taking out the ninjas that had surrounded her. Thanking them, the girl introduced herself as Suzu and sped off, not long after the party battled Volt and formed a pact with him. Arche was convinced to fly down to the side of the cliffs to pick up some of the treasures they could reach themselves though a partial call out from Chester seem to set her off. It’s rather unknown if she really hated Chester or not then or if it’s just heat of the moment, even so she was still very angry about it when she handed Cless the Emerald Ring and ? clothing. Back at Venezia where they decided to rest at the Inn, Arche had a heart to heart talk with Chester apologizing for the weak comment until Chester told her about Ami and Arche tried to get through to him by telling him he’s not the only one, and trying use Cless as an example. Next morning, Klarth had Volt charge up the Techbirds in the Royal Lab and Stanley gave them a wing pack where they could store the Techbird much to their surprise, along with an explanation on the “how-to-use.”
Now that they could fly, the party decided to visit Yggdrasil first and upon arriving they spoke a bit with Martel before getting interrupted by Dhaos who informed them that the only reason they are not battling here was because of the possibility of harming the Great Tree. The crew left and explored the world, hearing rumors about a ninja village in Treantwood forest, leading them to visit them visit there. Suzu took them to ninja village to her home where Cless was the almost-victim of every security measure in her home to meet her Grandfather Ranzo. Luckily for him, Ranzo told them to warm up in the hot springs first before they start their discussion. At the hot springs Arche made some rather interesting comparisons to Mint much to the boy’s (namely Cless’) and Mint’s embarrassment. Chester on the other hand decided to take a peek only to be met with a basin to the face when Arche threw it at him. Feeling refreshed, they talk about a number of serious things with Ranzo including his request to help Suzu locate her parents and gave Cless their family heirloom, a sword called Muramasa as thanks.
The group went to Euclid after a fruitless search for Suzu’s parents, Cless decided to enter the tournament and after the 8th round he encountered Suzu’s parents whom he thought he defeated. Suzu interfered and tried to stop them, but couldn’t bring herself to kill them. In the end, Dozo and Okiyo killed each other to spare their daughter from dirtying her hands and apologized for not being able to be there for her. They returned to Ninja Village as per Suzu’s request, Ranzo gave Cless a secret skill book as thanks for saving Suzu’s parents and made another request, asking if it was possible for Suzu to travel with them and lend them her aid. Before they depart the group decided to take yet another dip at the hot springs, this time is was Cless who commented on Chester’s newly gained muscles, Arche seems to be interested and decides to sneak a peek at the men’s side even though Mint protested claiming she was returning a favor and caught Cless’ attention.
They visited Arsia’s manor and was met with Brambert who gave them Chester’s bow that Arsia fixed before turning herself into a statue in Brambert’s place. For some strange unexplainable reason the crew made stop at Limestone Cave and decided to have a picnic where Arche reveals to the boys in the group how deadly her cooking is first hand by making them faint from the taste. When they returned to the Cave once again, Mint is shown to be an amazing cook making Arche depressed and slightly jealous, not to mention Chester wasn’t helping by injuring her pride. Mint took her aside and as stated in the game “only gave her a few pointers” to prove Arche can make delicious food too, unfortunately the group ended up praising Mint again much to Mint’s embarrassment and her chagrin. They travel to Arlee to visit the Cave of Darkness where Klarth formed a pact with Shadow with the Amethyst Ring. Another stop at the Elf colony shows the crew (minus Arche) talking to the proprietress of inn who told them to give Star Broom and Mom’s Gloves to Arche giving them the hint that she is Luti, Arche’s mother. In their travels they heard about the Spirit Aska who was kidnapped by the Kingdom of Thor and so they returned back to Thor and request that Aska be released. Soon after, Aska entered a pact with Klarth using the Topaz ring.
They finally went to visit the king of Alvanista and met Lundgrom once again (due to his elven blood) and was told that the three weapons of warring kingdoms of old may be the key to defeat Dhaos. First, they journeyed to the Tower of Flames in Freyland and defeated a red being called Flamberge who guards the Fire Blade. After beating him, Flamberge drew out Cless’ latent powers for him a bit and Cless learned how to use Chaos blade. Their next stop was in Friezkiel where they visited the Temple of Fenrir and defeated a similar being as Flamberge, but blue in color called Fen Beast who taught Cless how to use Distortion Blade after he acquired the Ice Blade. They left for Treantwood forest and fought and beaten Origin much to his displeasure. They talked about Dhaos a bit, Origin words left them much to think about, unfortunately, he refused to elaborate. However, he would obey as he was defeated in combat and forged the Eternal Sword as promised causing Cless’ to learn three more techniques. With the completion of the Eternal Sword, Origin formed a pact with Klarth as promised. They went back to Alvanista to report to Lundgrom and set off to Arlee where the group had a rather heartwarming scene with one another, with Klarth taking a peek back into the past focusing on Milard. Mint and Cless were having a serious to heart-to-heart talk about Mint’s mothers and how much Cless has helped her with Arche and Chester listening in after their quiet little argument that may be hinting at the beginnings of affection between those two. Meanwhile Suzu was on the roof left to her own thoughts.
Next day, an exploration team member ran up to the group reporting that they spotted a giant castle floating near the mines ruins. The party went to the mines and up to the hill to see… nothing? That is until the Eternal sword reacted to the castle and forced it to appear before them, deeming themselves unprepared the group turned back and stopped by Arsia’s mansion once more. They were met by Lord Brambert once more and saw how the Elves tried to convince to him to come back to lead them causing him to snap at them and immediately apologizing afterwards. They went up stairs to see a still petrified Arsia and Brambert explained while Humans and Elven relations are getting better once more, half elves are still not accepted. Brambert comments that he would continue stay there as punishment for his crimes causing Arche to blow up at him stating that what he’s doing is hurting Arsia more than helping her and how she believes that what a person feels is more important than what race they are. Her words made Brambert admitting that Arche was right, he loves Arsia more than anything, as a result freeing Arsia from her own curse. After the Brambert’s argument with the elves, Arsia ungraded Chester’s bow as thanks for helping them so much. Then they went on a trip to help a mysterious find his father’s most precious treasure and keep any other treasure for themselves. They went deep into the Morlia Mineshaft and recruited three powerful Daemonium spirits Chameleon, Gremlin’s Lair and Pluto before return to Arlee to take on Dhaos’ castle.
The group advanced through the castle taking out any every enemy that came their way until they reach Dhaos, Mint tried to talk to him, but by then it was too late, between Cless and Dhaos there wasn’t more to say, but fight. There they fought long and hard, defeating Dhaos over and over again until he could no longer fight draw anymore power and fight anymore. With his last dying breath Dhaos told them his story much to Cless’ surprise. With heavy trouble heart the party reappears in the Forest of Spirits think about what Dhaos had told them and what Martel had said in the flashback. After talking some more the group began to cheer up a bit and Mint placed a barrier around Yggdrasil so it could birth a Mana seed one day for Dhaos. With tearful smiling faces (from the girls) they bid Suzu farewell. Using the Eternal Sword Cless returns the remaining members back to the ruins of Toltus in his original time period. Arche and Mint broke into tearful goodbyes once more, Arche told them she’ll see them after a hundred years while Klarth bid them farewell knowing he’ll never see them ever again. Chester softly told Arche that they’ll meet again and went to Klarth’s side as called on the Eternal Sword’s power to send that back to their own time where Klarth returns to Euclid back to Milard while Arche heads for Ymir Forest to meet her mother. As time pass by, it’s shown that Chester and Cless were hunting in the Forest of Spirits again, Mint placing flowers on her mother’s grave. Later on when Yggdrasil has borne a mana seed Martel seem to have taken Dhaos’ body and placed it in the seed where it then flies to off to Derris Kharlan, his home world. The last scene shows that the trio (Cless, Mint, and Chester) plans on rebuilding Toltus first and once that is done they shall set off to look for Arche.
