deca, deca, deca
Tonight I auditioned for a dance troupe called decadance. It was really fun, but that's what I'd expect from a dance troupe as fun as them. They combine modern couple and social dances with eclectic music and they're always pushing boundaries and mixing things up. You might see Bollywood dance moves with a little salsa thrown in, or hustle and hip hop together in the same song. I love that, at least in a performance group, so I was very excited when I heard that the auditions were tonight.
I do have a wide background of dance and movement, and I learn choreographies pretty fast, so I think I did well in the audition. Well enough to get a call back, at least, but we'll find out tomorrow.
