Oooh, this sounds interesting! Is it YA? Can I read it then corrupt all my students with it? Wait ... not corrupt. I meant inspire. Yeah, inspire :D If so, sign me up!! Not that I need another fandom, but I do want something currently being written to share with my students.

Yes, it is YA! It is really great! The first book is The Raven Boys. You'll love it!

What are you teaching? The Amazon page says this is suitable for grades 7 & up, so if they like YA, they should be good.

I'm not sure how the years correlate but I teach high school years 9-13 (so, roughly ages 13-18). It should be a good fit for them, I think :)

I bought the first book (and they only had it hard cover with a gorgeous jacket, so I'm kind of in love with it already). I'm reading it and though I'm not far in I'm already loving it. I particularly like the description of Ronan, especially 'If his BMW was shark-like, it had learned how from him.' It's all very intriguing! I'm really liking Blue, she seems pretty cool so far.

When I first saw this I was like *please let this mean you'll be writing trc fic* and then once I continued reading and saw that you were I like screamed. THE WORLD NEEDS MORE TRC FIC.

I recently started (and finished) the series and I just want to squeal about it with everyone. Who's your fave? Who do you ship? Tell me everything, please.

Yay! I have not actually finished any fics, haha, but I do have a list of ideas as long as my arm. I'm reading lots of TRC fic too, but trying to be mindful that there isn't that much of it out there & I shouldn't go too fast, *sob*. Have you found any good fics to recommend ( ... )

So I'm reading it now thanks to you. Just immediately downloaded the 1st book after seeing this post.

OOOO I love The Raven Cycle. Maggie Stiefvater's writing is so beautiful. I am so excited for the fourth one!!!
I love all the characters so much. And of course am really into Gansey/Blue! OH MY SHIPPER HEART. Basically I have a lot of feelings about the series. And I am excited to read the fics you will hopefully write.

Also, I really recommend The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater. Her writing really is very lovely.

I know, her writing is fantastic. She has such a great turn of phrase.

I really want to read her other books but I feel like I need to space them out, haha. Need time to recover in between!!
