the suggestion for today's journal, for those with writers' block, mentions that today is the anniversary of the russian revolution. i haven't bothered to look that up, but i'm sure it's accurate. what bothers me is they've quoted karl marx (not as funny as harpo) as having said, "religion is the opium of the people" when i've always heard that

#1: Sorry I had to hang up on you the other night, I was literally about to walk backstage with a rack of clothes and the play was already happening.

#2: I'm super psyched for your wedding! Do you know if it's ok if I wear a black dress? I bought a nice black dress, but now my mom isn't sure if it's ok. If you don't care you should ask your fiance, since sometimes women care about these kinds of things.

#3: I'm totally acing linguistics right now, I have a 95.5 average without the ten free percentage points for attendance and participation. And linguistics may be one of the best areas I have EVER studied.

#4: I'm also acing sign language (100% in the class!) and I want to teach you!

#5: I'm not sure where you are November 19th-23rd, but I'm in a play at Oxy that is at 7:30 Wed-Sat, and at 2:00 on Sunday, and you should come see it if you can. And the 21st is my birthday!
