The Storm of Leverage: The Beginning
PROLOGUE
They all had their own stories. They each had their own agendas-they each had their own raging demons. Each had their own talents-specialties. But to them, it all didn’t matter. They were one crew-one team.
They were Arashi.
=Master Mind=
Ohno Satoshi doesn’t even know how he got in this situation. He didn’t know how he GOT here. All he knew was that he was HAPPY. He was CONTENT-sure he had no job since he got fired from his last one, but he was HAPPY, that was all that mattered. But somehow-for SOME reason-he got DRAGGED into this situation when he was perfectly content before. (Yes NINO, I was)
“Put your hands where we can see them!”
He closed his eyes and raised his hands. He resisted the urge to sigh and inwardly seethed. He was so getting Nino back for this!
=Thief=
Ninomiya Kazunari had issues but he was too busy trying to stay alive to be bothered with them. He learned when he was young that the world was all about EAT or be EATEN (that can be taken literally). He always had sticky fingers and those fingers got him and Ohno alive throughout their childhood. He would rather steal to survive than to die because he was afraid to get his hands dirty. But Oh-chan was different, he wasn’t meant for this kind of world. (SHUT UP AIBA! I AM NOT SAP!)
“Nino! Oh-chan’s going to get NICKED!” a voice beside him hissed. Nino hissed back, “SHUT UP Aiba! I get it!”
He got him into this mess, he better get him out! Damn it, Nino! Think!
=Hacker=
Aiba Masaki didn’t start out in this part of the world. He once had a happy family of his home in a decent neighbourhood surrounded by happy and nice people, but then his parents died when he was really young. His grandparents took him in and lived happily too. But, they, too, died. They died when he was 9 and he was left alone once more.
In the orphanage he had lived in had a single computer and he grew fascinated. From then on, he found the power one could have inside it. Running away, he soon discovers that with power comes responsibilities-consequences. (SHO-CHAN! MAKE NINO STOP TEASING ME!!!!)
“Sho-chan! What do we do?!” he whispered to his companion. His companion looked contemplative and said nothing. “Oh God, AIBA! Don’t you ever shut up?!” his other companion hissed.
Aiba turned to him sharply and glared. “I’m worried, you ass!” before Nino could retaliate, Sho spoke.
“Ohno’s telling us what to do, so listen up.”

=Retrieval Expert=
Sakurai Sho came from a well-off family. It was just that they never looked eye to eye ever since his sister disappeared. They’ve completely given up and he has not. He wasn’t giving up on her, not yet.
This was practically the only reason why he was part of THIS world.
He wasn’t a Hustler per say-that’s such a derogative term. He much prefers the term “Retrieval Expert”. Why? It’s because Hustlers always resort to PHYSICAL MANIPULATION to get what the client wants, but he didn’t need to use such primitive caveman ways. As a retrieval expert, he resorts to his natural presence, charisma and for the lack of better term-“aura” to get the goods. This doesn’t mean that he couldn’t get physical (yes, Nino, he knows how to punch), he just prefers not to get dirty. (DON’T LAUGH DAMN IT!)
“What’s this plan, Sho-chan?” a voice to his right asked. Sho gave a wry grin. “That idiot has his trick plays, I’m impressed.”
“Which means what exactly?” Nino asks, irritated. Sho turns to him and looks at the silent contemplative man beside him. “Jun, you’re up.” Sho told him with a smirk.
The man beside him smiled in response, albeit a little haughtily. “Yeah, I know.”

=Grifter=
Matsumoto Jun started being a grifter for his family. They were poor and they needed the money for his sick older sister. There was a cure, but it was expensive. It doesn’t help that his father left them and his mom died. It was just him and his sister. And they need it bad.
It was when he tried it on children his age and when he saw that he had talent, he decided then and there he would continue. And continue he did.
He met Sho when he was 13. He tried to con the older boy and end up being conned instead. No one cons Sakurai Sho and gets away with it. The older boy just huffs and leaves, when Jun tells him why he does it. The next day, the hospital tells him that his sister is now on treatment and will be fine in a few months with regular check-ups.
Sho appears in his apartment suddenly that week and asks him if he continue this kind of life style. He says yes right away. He then introduces him to a teacher who hands him the ART of GRIFTING. It was then Jun knew that he could count on older boy before him. He trusts him with all his life. (Damn it, Nino! It’s not a CRUSH!!)
“Sakurai, you sure that the Diva can do this?” Nino asked. Sho nodded silently and folds his arms. “Watch.” He orders them. Nino frowns but went to look at the man leaving the room. “Jun’s the best grifter in the country, Nino.” Sho instructed. “Five minutes, that’s all he needs.”
Nino said nothing as they follow the man out, apprehension seizing his entire form. The entire time Aiba was uncharacteristically silent.
“They won’t know what hit them.”
