As for pranks, Jeff told me a good one his Dad did once: get a bunch of battery powered alarm clocks, set them to go off at approximately the same time (about a minute apart from each other) and stash them in obscure places in his room. When they go off in the middle of the night, he'll wonder what the shit is going on and scramble to find the seven alarm clocks blaring at him from under his bed, in his desk, etc.
