The most horrible thing in the world is being sick while you're travelling. The day after we flew into Ladakh, I managed to acquire a fever and a lousy stomach. I'm pretty much well now, but the past few days have been kind of shitty. The scenery in Ladakh, however, more than makes up for the altitude sickness. The lower mountains are barren

were you guys at all affected by the bombings in bombay?
when do you come home?

WE didn't get affected at all - we barely even found out about it. It was really frustrating that we didn't manage to get any news for about three weeks straight. Anyway, I'm home in about four days. I can't wait.
