Mom: When do you start work?

Me: A week after finals. I'm going to work all summer, but I want a week to hang out with friends etc.

Mom: You should probably work this summer, though, and start saving up some college money.

.....Do you ever get the feeling that people aren't listening to ANYTHING you're saying?
