I wish my grocery store had such a scheme. I'm a hardcore collector of plastic bags (although at my house we use them for trash can bags)

I had an excuse for keeping them at school, however! They're a lot easier to pack clothes and stuff into than boxes to take back home for summer :D

Do you have a milk carton with holes cut into it to store your plastic bags? I do! carved the hole out with stu's box cutter then borrowed a friend's lighter (why he has it I don't know because I don't believe he smokes) to smooth down the edges to reduce bleeding.

I would feel kinda weird taking my own bags to the grocery store though. what if they thought you stole them? what if you didn't bring enough? What if you brought too many? What if the person bagging your items didn't notice you had them?

OH NO

Yes, actually, we use a gallon milk jug with a hole cut in the side to store our plastic(now trash) bags.

What if they thought you stole them?
Hasn't happened yet.

What if you didn't bring enough?
Then you get a couple of plastic bags.

What if you brought too many?
Don't use them all.

What if the person bagging your items didn't notice you had them?
We always make sure they do by handing them to the bagger when we first get there.
