BU WON THE BEANPOT TONIGHT. AGAINST BC, OUR ARCHRIVALS WHO SHOULD GO BACK TO CHESTNUT HILL AND ...(do unspeakable things to themselves). I REALIZE THAT THIS MAY HAVE VERY LITTLE MEANING TO MANY OF YOU, BUT IT'S THE BIGGEST COLLEGE HOCKEY TOURNAMENT IN BOSTON, AND NOW IT'S JUST F*CKING CRAZINESS AROUND HERE.
Amanda, Katie, and I rode back on an overcrowded T. With like 100000000000000 people onboard. There was crowdsurfing, there was loud raucous cheering, there was intense BC bashing, there was harrassment and pushing BC fans off the T, there was breakage and looting and burning and pillaging (ok, that's a bit far), and the conductor actually got on the loudspeaker at one point and said, "You're breaking the train..."
To which the entire train responded, "YEAHHHHHHH!!!!! WE...ARE....AWESOME....!!!" and chanting loudly that we were the most awesome people ever to ride the Green Line.
We sang "Hey Baby", we sang the "BC Sucks!" song, we pounded on the windows and scared lots of people away, we had people standing on the seats and swinging from the handbars, we had LOTS of people crowdsurfing (literally...it was like a mosh pit), we had petitions to change the name of the train to the Boston University train... oh, and nobody was drunk, either. We were just ecstatic.
Four periods. Overtime. 2-1. Two goals scored that didn't count. Freaking out. Grey hair. Attacking small children behind us and giving them high-fives when BU scored. Making friends/enemies with the BC fans sitting next to us. Screaming until we lost our voices. Recieving red heart stickers from some random BU fan.

I'm all revved up on hockey, McDonald's, Skittles, and Twix bars. Are you kidding? I'm not going to bed for hours.
