I remember the first time I was allowed to scoop icecream for myself. My mum never gave me enough, so I scooped the amount she gave me in front of her, and she smiled approvingly, then I shoveled the rest of the container into my bowl and ran to my room.

Yeah, that was cool. I totally couldn't finish it, either.

Ha. I'm so horrible about food like that. I take too much thinking I'll eat it and then I won't and then I feel SO bad because there are starving children in India even if I managed to come here! And then my mom looks at me disapprovingly and tells me how I should take smaller portions and I can always take more and blah blah blah and it happens EVERY SINGLE TIME. I don't get it.
