ok ok ok so this is where we pretend that we talk about how watchmen was the best thing ever and whoever picked the songs for the soundtrack wins at life. because alsdkflsdk;ld omg still incoherent from the AWESOME. rorschach, what is it like to be made of win and pure badassery? just curious.

haha! that one was tastefully done i must admit.

BUT I WOULD HAVE LIKED THEM NOT IN MY FACE. idk i'm for a great soundtrack but somehow they just... overdid it imo. but that's me and other critics. IT WORKED FOR YOU.

Well, I have been informed that I have notoriously low standards by my Speed Racer hating friends WAIT NO, I WOULDN'T MIND BOB DYLAN ON MY FACE. :(

(though i think i might be able to see where you're coming from, they did pretty much have a song playing every scene)

The soundtrack was so over the top ridic and I was okay with it UNTIL the sex scene, then my friend and I were just going "okay what." And then in a dead silent Daly City theater "okay what" turned into giggles, and giggles turned into full out uncontrollable laughter and I hope that scene was meant to be as ridic as the music made it be.

wat I loved it. And I think so because I laughed throughout that entire scene too but I thought that was one of the parts that made it so great?! I'm alone in the soundtrack love aren't I.

Well, I'd already heard about how the ending had been changed and how the director's cut DVD was going to have like 3948753948574 hours of more footage that he'd wanted to put in so I was actually prepared for the whole ending to kind of suck so yeah. Cheesy didn't occur to me at the time because I was too busy being kind of surprised by huh, that was actually pretty good.

Yeah, I like mcr and all but it was disappointing that wasn't more Bob Dylan. I didn't even know mcr did a cover of Desolation Row until now.
