Tell me if this makes sense: I work on my thesis for eight odd months, spend nearly all my free time making it sound decent and barely sleep the last month and a half I'm working on it and I get a C- for "form problems". You should ask your professor why you got the grade you did. Nicely bring up the fact that someone from the Alumni office thought your poster was awesome and wants you to present to a bunch of higher-up people. Then see what your prof says. That's what I would do anyways, especially since you spent so much time on it. It's worth a little arguing, huh?
