Life is Seriously Messed Up

My sister-in-law's brother's wife (does that make her a sister-in-law-in-law?) has been in the hospital for about a week and a half.  Turns out she has what we think is thrombophilia,where her body is creating an abnormal amount of blood clots.  It started in her right foot and got so bad before the doctors finally figured out what was going on
