I think still be friends with him hurts me more than it would to never speak to him again. I went over just to pick up my toothbrush and knowing from the instant he said “can’t you pick it up later?” that she was there. I was right. She was. It hurts so much to talk to him every night and still feel that connection there when really it’s not.

Dude, I just stopped talking to and caring about Lawrence after I dumped him. I haven't really talked to him since we broke up, and I have stayed as far away as possible from his myspace/whatever else. I've ignored Grant's existence entirely. As far as I'm concerned, those assholes aren't even real people anymore, because they treated me like shit. You need to have the same mindframe. Seriously, if you keep in contact with him, you're just going to drive yourself nuts one way or another.
