Oh my grandparents got out of Iraq, so they're buying a place there but you need to go through all these security and bank checks, they finally got approved. so yay.

Hi Shahd! I reiterate, today's exam sucked majorly, as have all the other psych ones. I can't believe we don't finish til Tuesday...NOOO! My sister is already finished, it's not fair. I am currently an Internet refugee, we were supposed to upgrade to ADSL2+, but for some reason it doesn't work on my big computer, so we're using my laptop temporarily. My dad is pissed off at the touchpad, he can't use it properly and keeps saying 'ridiculous'. Hey, will you be at uni on Tuesday an hour or so before the exam, coz I will be (can't get dropped off, long story) and was wondering whether we could meet up. I want to hear all about APEC and NZ (don't forget my postcard), plus I was wondering if you could possibly bring me Season 4 of Gilmore Girls, I loved Season 3. Sorry for such a long comment. Yeah, thanks, that would be great! But hey, our computer is stuffed, and the technician said that watching DVD/CD's on it breaks it...But that can't be true, can it?? Coz otherwise why would they put a DVD compatible label on the disc drive??? In any case, I'll watch them on my laptop (not allowed on the big computer anymore)...sometimes my technophobe parents suck =(

If your computer isn't DVD compatible then it just won't be able to read the DVD, it wouldn't get stuffed. Your computer would get jammed/show signs of trouble if a) you don't have the right codecs installed (a restart would make it fine) b) you have some sort of card problem or drive problem.

Anyhow, I'll try to remember to bring both on Tuesday :)

Hey, yeah, that's exactly what I thought. Our CD drive was stuffed long before, so I think it's related to that. About the codecs, if I can view the videos properly, then does that mean I have them all installed (I've installed about 3000 of them to watch anime)? Anyway, thanks for keeping me stocked with Gilmore Girls...I caught some of it on TV today, Richard has a moustache, I laughed so much! I hate being an Internet refugee and I just found out all the data from our big computer had to be wiped...I lost all my anime and links and music and everything!!!!! AAARRRGHHHH! In other news, I can't wait for exams to be over. Studying for 240 is boring and hard b/c I don't really see what's testable from the pracs...Anyway, see you on Tuesday!

Oh damn. *hugs laptop* I always try to put important things on my email, external HD or a disc. 240 is weird. For the pracs we only need to know info. about the measures and why they're bad/good.
