Rose's delivers the (cheap) goods

Today I went out trying to find the items from my shopping list that I was unable to find at Wal-Mart the other day. This basically consisted of cups, bowls, plates, ice trays, and a cheap rug that would promote rolling of my office chair on the carpet (I don't like those plastic mats because I always end up cutting my feet on them). i always feel like rose's is some kind of portal, stuck in time. they must have at least some of the exact merchandise they did in 1970. every time i'm in there, i wonder what it must be like to work there. it seems like it'd be depressing.

For me, Rose's is like the boy/girl at The Club who would go home with nigh onto anyone. You can get what you came for and pay less for it. Sure it won't be around in 5 of 10 years, but you never intended for it to be...
