It is that time of year once more. As the weather grows cooler, the days grow shorter. Soon, autumn will become winter. While some of you have been here for a while, I have not, and I am unsure of just how cold this city might become

But it's always cold in winter! That's why Appa gets so furry and then sheds in spring!

As long as people use common sense about preparing for winter, they'll be fine.

Except not everyone is used to preparing for winter. Therein lies the problem.

What else is there to it? You stock up on a lot of food, get as many blankets as you can, clothes, and possibly some weapons for idiots who'd jump you during this time, etc.

Firewood is also necessary. You need a source of warmth. Blankets alone will not be enough to prevent you from freezing to death. And if any of hte food is fresh, it must be stored in certain ways to prevent it from spoiling.

Mmm, I don't know. I think a lot of people got some cold weather stuff together when it was snowing a while ago. Maybe some of them still have that around.

Yeah, this winter could be really hard if we can't find enough blankets and coats.
