Take five books

Dec 18, 2008 21:39

First of all, I borrowed this little exercise from spyinak . (Thanks!)

It sounded like fun, and I'm up tonight with no sleep in the near future. So here it goes...

1. Take five books off your bookshelf.
2. Book #1 -- first sentence
3. Book #2 -- last sentence on page fifty
4. Book #3 -- second sentence on page one hundred
5. Book #4 -- next to the last ( Read more... )

It is nice to see that someone else has dreams and remembers them vividly. My husband thinks it is odd that I can recall my dreams in detail.

I used to dream about giving birth as well. All of my friends and I were in a school gymnasium - one by one they would go into the locker room to give birth. They would come out with a baby and we would all gather around to see what they had.

I think birth represents a new start. The baby something you have to nurture to make it grow. Perhaps you are just thinking about some new venture. Are you facing two choices? Do you like one better than the other? Did you dream about a real baby panda - itty bitty and hairless or a cuddly panda? Do you like cats?
Just some things to consider if you really want to analyze what you are dreaming about.

I can usually relate my dreams to something vague I have seen or done during the day. And I usually dream about people that I no longer have contact with - the other night I dreamt about a manager I worked (for a few months) for 20 years ago!

Also, I too have dreams about people from my past, especially people I wish I still talked to. I frequently dream about people whom I no longer have contact with, and usually they are the people I miss, or harbor regret with ( ... )

I am NOT good at analyzing dreams. I can do my own because I better understand the relation between the "objects" in the dream but the dreams of others...... not so much ( ... )
