Ed suggested last night that I write out the speech I would have given tomorrow. I think that's a great idea, and I'm putting it up in the air to be either excerpted or read in its entirety by somebody (Ed offered to do it) or something else entirely ( Read more... )

Thany you for being there last night,I know you friendship meant a great deal to Jason.

Thank you, Donna. I'm so glad I could be there last night - and I plan on doing whatever it takes to make sure Jason's prediction comes true. Now more than ever.

(Oh, thank you so much for remembering the mutant killer bees. I can't *believe* I forgot that!)

Mike,

If you just need a ride to Simpsonville, call me at 787-4009. I live in Seneca about 2 miles from Clemson U. I'll be leaving for Simpsonville about 2:20pm.

I really appreciate the offer, Stu, but the problem actually isn't lack of transportation. I have midterms this week, which means an incredible amount of studying and writing to get done. I'm happy I at least got to go to the wake last night.

It's funny. I hadn't realized until yesterday how close you actually lived to me. We really gotta get together some time in the future, man.
