Gaius and Eigyr are certainly kind and the druid encampment is far more peaceful and safe feeling than the refugee camp struggling outside. It may well be a safe haven for Merlin to work on channeling his magic but from the sound of things even these peaceful druids won't be placated for long.
Camelot poaching the refugees children to fuel their city is horrific and must be stopped as quickly as possible. Poor Merlin, everyone is hoping he'll just be able to snap his fingers and save them all and Gaius' revelation about the about Merlin using the stone is going to raise their hopes even higher. Alvarr's right in one respect, he is just a boy. A boy with immense power percolating under his skin. Here's hoping he learns to channel it in time to be the savior this world is looking for.
