It's good that Merlin is finally able to unburden himself to Arthur and Morgause. He's been carrying a lot on his shoulders since first meeting up with the dragon holograph ages ago. He's had nobody to lean on, really, since losing his mother and later Gaius.
You've left me anxious for Morgana and Gwen, though. If Gwen was right and Nimueh has been tracking Merlin since he first tried to use the swipe card, Morgana, Gwen, Arthur and Morgause are all in danger for harboring him.
I wish there was some kind of plan in place, some big idea other than the knowledge that Merlin is going to have to make a terrible choice that could either save or destroy the world. It's nerve wracking having that hanging over everyone's head.
