Thank you! Are you writing for it this year? I haven't had a chance to look properly through sign ups yet, but there's so many exciting things!
I think that the little one (or Merlin as my family decided to name him) was ill or had something wrong with him. He didn't put on much weight at all and he literally just fell over dead one day :/ not very nice to see, but I'm glad at least it wasn't an infection or something.

It's selfish of me to do so, but I'm cheering you on to cave in! A plot will come? Can that even be used to try and persuade you? A slightly lacking argument, but have it be known that I'll be waving a flag for you should you join!
Yeah it's a shame :( it's why I was pretty distant in getting attached to the others until they were big enough that I was sure they'd be okay. Quails in general are pretty indestructible, once they're old enough.
