Sympathy and apologies. Been pre-occupied with preparations for Comic-Con, trying to find employment, book proposal, subject GRE planning etc., plus I can't recall if you ever told me the date (and if you did, I know I didn't write it down). I always either calendar birthdays (for family) or have the person e-mail it to me for quick access (most everyone else), and even with LJ profiles, I tend to notice the year rather than the date.

Hope next year's birthday goes better (since if nothing else, you should be done with the MCAT, right? Reminds me why I gave up my dream of becoming a medical examiner), and I'll try to bring you a shiny object back from San Diego.
