I didn't know if Buffy was just trying to coddle me or if we were really doing what I'd asked. Eventually Harry left me and the jungle to go find Faith. He was going to see his children. That's what it all boiled down to right? Their children and letting them have a father? Yeah, he was a demon now but shit so was I. My relationship with Connor (despite the past couple of days) has been fine for the most part ever since he came back to the hotel, but what would've happened if life didn't have a cruel sense of humor? If there had been no prophecy to be forged or tampered with and the biggest worry with him I had would've been getting him out of diapers or making sure I didn't catch Gunn teaching him how to say dawg instead of dad ( ... )

It wasn't long before Dawnie and I saw Angel's familiar figure emerging just out of the jungle. Before I could say anything my sister took off at a sprint. I probably could have stopped her if I wanted to but I knew that she was grieving her friend and not exactly with the thinking clearly at the moment so I just chased after her. When she shoved him hard I thought about stepping in the middle, not because I thought Dawn could hurt Angel obviously but who knew how he'd retaliate to that ( ... )

I just crumbled inside at Angel's words because whatever reason I'd been expecting him to give me that wasn't it. I hadn't even known Faith was pregnant, god how long had I been locked up? And what was with those weird pregnancies? I mean really did anyone carry a baby to term anymore and why the hell did that matter when I was staring at Angel wondering what to do now ( ... )
