What the hell was going on? I got to have a chat with my dead little sister, Faith and I had our little talk with the 'island', the kids had gone missing when we got back to the beach, and now Faith had disappeared now that we were out looking for them. After I ditched Lena I got a little lost, which was only funny from the standpoint that we really were lost on this island to begin with. No way out, nowhere to go, no fuckin' clue where we were. Lost. Except, I had gotten pretty good at navigating my new home lately and it surprised me that I couldn't find the compound again. In fact, I was pretty sure that I was walkin' in circles. I tried to stop, tried to calm down hopin' that if I was thinkin' with a clear head I might find my way again but I really sucked at havin' a clear head. It's hard to act when all you've done is react in a certain place, or for your whole life ( ... )

The three of us had been walking back towards the beach for a few minutes and I probably could have done without the stories of how much fun Wolfram and Hart seemed to be. Then there were the ones of how nice the lady was who gave the two of them candy then said they could find more in the jungle. Who the hell was she? The first person that came to my mind was Faith's mother but it didn't make any sense. Obviously nothing made sense on this island so that wasn't a big surprise ( ... )

So Lena was right, they were at the compound. Honestly I didn't care where they were I was just fucking relieved that they were okay and nothing bad happened to them. I gave Faith a small nod confirming that it was Wolfram and Hart that the portal led to. It only figured that it would be the place on the other side, but it still pissed me off all the same. Tyler nodded eagerly at Faith when she asked if they could take them there. Yeah, I bet it was loads of fun for them, but me? Not exactly my idea of a good time ( ... )

I knew that I would be in his shoes and Cordelia had seemed just as concerned about him when we had been back in Wolfram and Hart.
