Would LOVE to see angst, or hurt/comfort.
Maybe the two of them fighting back-to-back, taking some damage. Or maybe Al gets hurt while he's still recovering from being returned to his body, and Ed's in the position of having to help him to safety or give him first aid. Or armor Al being protective of Ed- getting in the way of a strike that could have injured Ed, or something."

Notes: Sadly, I'm not yet quite done with my piece. For some reason, I had convinced myself that the due date was the end of the month, and so when my previous piece took longer than I expected, I didn't worry.
I hope whomever requested this piece isn't too disappointed that it's late. I will have it finished, though I am a notoriously slow artist. Too focused on details, perhaps, but I hope you will think it worth it.
The lineart as it is so far - this is a sample of the whole picture - much of which still needs cleaning up and tweaking. Referenced using my new Revoltech action figures (which I adore!)
And this is the background I came up with - based on a city street scene photo that I found.
I should be done with it in a couple of weeks, but you must forgive a poor working mom with two kids for not having much in the way of spare time. *blush*
