“Define restraint.”
“What do you mean define restraint ? You might as well ask me to define temptation along with it. Because one begets the other and there would be no discussion about restraint without a prior discussion about temptation. So ask the right question first and maybe you'll get an answer.”
“Alright, here's one; define revelation. Tell me what mechanics lead up to things that make me think about asking you to define restraint in the first place.”
“The very definition of revelation is define. You have to define what it is you are having a revelation about. Revelation comes after temptation and is, in essence, define. Try again, I might slip up.”
“What I should really do is have you define bottom line. I know that you have no idea what that means. Don't look so affronted; this is something we've needed to discuss for a while now. I know you think this is your playground and you still have enough youthful abandon to see things without limits; but limits there are and you've reached them. So how about you define deficit; because that is what you have.”
“How about I define, by demonstration, my boot up your ass? That should put an end to this unnecessarily long and pointless conversation about limitations being placed on me by the morally deficit majority. Let's define manipulation as a means of motivation because that is really what this is all about. Define incorruptible; oh wait I forget who I'm talking to.”
