My face couldn't decide whether to smile or sigh. My hands made several abortive attempts at emotional gesture. I have been robbed of all eloquence and repaid in contentment, etc etc etc, dramatic posturing, words ad infinitum.

This was amazing! I loved the way you presented each stage in Pinako's life - wonderful, wonderful work on the character and her thoughts. I also really enjoyed all the details about the environment she lives in, the habits and attitudes and all the little details of everyday life, which really added to the whole thing. Her relationships with all the other characters were very interesting, and I especially liked how you added depth and character to even minor characters (I especially loved Sarah!).

All in all, I LOVE THIS AND IT'S WONDERFUL, will 100% read again.

I adore Pinako, and how strong you've made her in these five ficlets. This is really a joy to read.

Ah, I finally got the time to take a look at some of the Ladyfest entries, and I'm so glad I did! \o/ Pinako through the seasons of her life is so characterful and likeable. I like how philosophically she takes change and loss. (And bonus points for putting Winry's career back into the picture after the epilogue.)
