On a snow day, I prefer to bleach my eyes until they bleed.

Ah, you got snowed in? Lucky.

She had no friends, abusive parents, and now, her favorite anime, Fullmetal Alchemist, has been removed from youtube

OH GOD. HOW DID YOU EVEN CONTINIUE FROM THERE?

Because Sues want to take over fandom.

Now, I want to know: how do you change your icon after every post?

Once, there was an American girl named Lila. Lila did not have a very nice life.

Why is it written in a way that makes me think that Rat from Pearls Before Swine is the author?

She had no friends, abusive parents, and now, her favorite anime, Fullmetal Alchemist, has been removed from youtube.

HAHAHAHAOHJESUS. Seriously, this sounds so much like a parody of badfics that I can't stop laughing.

And while I will concede that some of her parts aren't as bad as the average one we get here, why are all of these girls able to move their automail a minute after getting one attached to them? Doesn't the usual automail user take three or so years of therapy to get it to work like their old limb did? I don't know, I can't remember if the anime emphasized it, but it was definitely mentioned in the manga (and if she is as obsessed as she claims, she most likely read it). And I hope that when she says "help", she only means Winry does tasks like handing out the surgical tools like Black Jack's Pinoko, because hell, I wouldn't let some ( ... )

because hell, I wouldn't let some nine-year-old-or-younger girl operate on me!

I agree!

And yes, fifteen bloody chapters. It's terrible.

First of all, I must say that I love your icon. So perfect. XD

Moving on!

This reeks of troll, but trolls aren't usually determined enough to write fifteen chapters. And if it was a parody, it would probably be labeled as such. Therefore, the only conclusion I can come to is that this...this thing...It's for serious. *spontaneous combustion*

I love your sporking. There was more laughing than wincing :D

When she was on a field trip, the bus crashed, and one thing led to another, and she didn’t have an arm.
You know - I'm so used to 'one thing led to another' being used in smutty fics - it's just so weird to be used in terms of someone losing an arm.
Ed did alchemy, one thing led to another and Ed lost an arm and leg and Al was attached to a suit of armor. One thing led to another and Ed was a state alchemist. One more thing led to another and everything was just dandy.
I think this is my new favorite phrase for everything!

Will not go into the ALCHEMY is a SCIENCE argument. Almost all fics ignore eet. Sigh.

What is with you and freaking out and then immediately calming down afterwards?Oh so freaky ( ... )

Yeah, Ran-Fan was just pushing it. She nearly died, and she was gone for six months. So having it attached in five minutes (not even) woulda -- shoulda -- killed her. It's when Edward gets a new arm inserted that it only takes a little while. But the Suethors don't seem to notice that he already has his shoulder attached. His automail shoulder can't be removed. That's the part that's attached to his nerves. So technically there'd be no way an arm could "perfectly fit" Lila. And what's wrong with having normal prosthetics? Huh?? Remember that 30-something in the Rockbells (I can't remember if it's when they were being introduced or if it was afterwards) that was getting a normal prosthetic leg? And how he said he couldn't handle the pain of automail? Do these Suethors not realize there are more than just automail as a source for artificial limbs ( ... )

BCUZ THEY WULDN'T BE SUPA KAWAII SPESHUL WITHOUT AUTOMALE!!!1!1!

Oddly enough, I constantly am reminded of that 30-something patient when I groan over how many Sues opt for automail.

Do these Suethors realize the severity of not having a limb in the first place, whether you have a replacement or not?

Agreed, especially if you lose the arm you use when writing. My memory is foggy, but didn't Edward have to force himself to learn to do that with his left hand? I'd find it nearly impossible to do that with a limb you can't feel. Now that I think about it, I wonder if he experiences that "ghost limb" thing. That would seriously freak me out if it happened to me.

Ooooh!

Reminds me of a fic I read written by raja815 for fma_fic_contest.

"The Man Who Fakes a Limp"

It's pretty amazing. She's addressed the phantom limb issue in a brilliant way - with angst naturally. Only 999 words - pretty impressive. I'd suggest a read. I'd also suggest hitting the Sues on the head with it.
For every crappy fic, they're a couple of really good ones. Gives me hope, makes me have faith in my fandom. FMA has a startlingly large number of good writers - they're all there - just have to hunt for them.
And yes, naturally she won :)
