Blackouts, memory loss, insomnia, and compulsive transmutation circle-drawing drive the alchemists to near madness, and a singular voice in the back of all of their minds calls to them ceaselessly. Roy Mustang and Edward Elric, along with the rest of the talented State Alchemists, appear to be even more susceptible to this unknown alchemic disease. The Amestrian military is in chaos as dozens of its higher-ranking officers start losing their minds, until even Bradley is invested in putting a stop to their torment and calming is country.
