[You love me. Now for an actual setting. Russel has given the others no forewarning of his plan, he has simply led Fletcher into the room at the inn where he fully expects there to be Animorphs and an unmorphed Andalite.] I brought a guest!
[in human morph] Russel? What did you... [Eyes dart from Russel to Fletcher. Great. The Controller just saw someone who supposedly disappeared months ago.]

[And now, it's the home stretch. Anytime in the next few hours, that damned Yeerk will be dead, and Fletcher will finally be free.]
Fletcher, it won't be much longer now. You're going to see a lot of things soon. It's going to be the life of that Yeerk, and all of its previous hosts. Don't be scared.
[Fletcher is untied now, since the Yeerk is too weak by now to pull anything that Russel couldn't overpower on his own, without morphs. He's holding Fletcher's hand.]
[He's trembling, trying to hold off the impending madness that comes with the starvation. He went through this before, on the Hork-Bajir home world, and was rescued with only hours to spare. He jerks his -- Fletcher's -- hand away from Russel. Fletcher's still trying to break through, and it's getting harder to hold him off.]
[Though it might be worthless, he has to try. He stumbles to his feet, facing the window.]
[Tugs to pull his arm away] You can't keep me here! Someone will notice-- someone's going to come-- And then they'll find out the truth and they'll take all of you and every last one of you will belong to us!
[YANKS his arm away, but has to hold his head as he shakes it, arguing internally with his host, and can't step forward. How can this be the same tiny human boy who's spent the past year crying and pleading with him? He's so strong all of a sudden...]

[Looks at Al. More what the fuck... That's not good.]
.... This isn't going to end well. Russel, what exactly are you doing?

[Have a startled blue centaur quickly rising to his feet.]
