There have been several stages of satisfaction on the matter so far, but nothing mentioned on LJ to date, and anyway today is the real day of awesomeness.

Awsome! Glad you got the position!

Having an office on campus is the best shit ever! When I was photo editor for the paper I would hang out in my office all the time. Free printing, napping, computer use that I never have to wait for, can hang photos all over the walls, store things I dont want to carry around every day but still want at school, and could tell people "meet me at my office" hahahaha.

PS.Me + Melanie + other runners = hashing x soon

Thank you.

In a weird way I feel a sortof kinship with you in that since the first time we met (out of I think two total encounters), we have mostly just observed each other's blogs and made occasional comments. But even if I don't really know you that well, I read what you have to say here, and I can honestly say as a non-biased observer, I think you have really done a lot of good for yourself and your life.

I like to think that I have made improvements in my life too, and its nice to think that people recognize and give credit for that.

I remember saying to you once, "Lets see what a priestess of Hathoor can do!"

I am impressed!

what an excellent crop of news! i'm always delighted to hear of friends moving on up to the east side of academia.

> early stages of data compilation on a very large study of cognitive-schemas

mmm, cognitive psych pairs, moreso than anything else i know of, extreme promise with bright minds with utter wankery. can you give more details? it sounds fascinating, at least: A Taxonomy of Thought.
